if i add some cobbles to the tank wld that look good or will it look out of place with the tuffa rock or shell i just take out the tuffa rock and add all cobbles !!!!

i would of added a thinner layer of sand, easier to keep the tank clean. You definatley need more rocks IMO, if you get a pair of cichlids they will more than likley take over that hole mound of tuffa rock leaving only the 2 sides for the others!

i kno i need more rock
77x17x18

i am not buying adults got some fry coming mbuna next mth (jan 09)

was thinking of putting in some cobbles to make up the rest of the tank

Cool system. I thought it looked long and short. Not a bad thing. Gives more floor space for the fishies to pick territory. Good # of fish for that tank. Did you research compatiblity beforehand?

i
we've had malawi's before in my old 5ft tank but had adults we had 10tanks but only had 7tanks of malawi around the flat
but learned alot from that time having them and we do miss them so thats why we going bk to them again

we thought of it before i got this tank thought of it then sed yes be good but ill have fry this time and let they grow up
was going to get other cichlids but thought of the hight and width then sed ill get mbuna's again
cant wiat to get them shld be this wkend or if not will have them in the first wk of jan 09
getting around 20 of them ill let u all know wot i get and ill take some pics of them

:good:

okie dokie. Just checking. I guess a bad combination can tear apart a tank rather quickly.

Look forward to pics and updates. Should be grand!!!
