My Tank Apparently Smells (help?)

when you open the hood, does it smell like its from the tank??

what is your maintenence routine, my tanks used to smell "earthy" and especially when newley set up- this smell would clear up within a few days /week

oh this is starting to bug me now, theres nothing worse than a bad smell and not knowing where its coming from

Put some Pot Pouri near the tank but dont spray air freshner too close. Other than that, stop feeding the fish beans and other carbs....and hopefully they will stop farting sama:

When I lift the lid the water doesn't smell bad. Not bad enough to cause the smell that is engulfing the office. shlelaghfishface it is starting to bug me too.

This may sound like a silly idea since you already done a w/c but are all the fish there?? Could one have gotten into the filter and died? Or perhaps jumped out and be behind the tank??

then i would maybe start blaming someone else, is it a food store,office?? or like minx said a dead fish stuck somewhere

Its a Glass business. Last time I checked glass doesn't smell like anything, right?
