Beautiful tank :D Really well laid out, and you've got some gorgeous fish. Making me wish I could have loaches now

The tank is fab one of the best I have seen here in a long time!!!

The clown loaches look ace, how many were there is it 6? I have 4 in mine and I'm on the look out for a couple more if I can get them cheap enough.

Those rainbows are fab, its always been a desire of mine to do a big rainbow tank and that just highlights why, they look great and are a credit to you!! :good:

What is the tank size, you seem to have quite a lot of fish.

Juwel vision 450 with the internal removed and replaced with a fluval 405 and a tetratec 1200 external filters.

I know what your thinking, Clowns grow big and a 450 litre really is not big enought I agree BUT! they are still juveniles and I have another tank for them an 8ft but I cannot use it as its to big for my place (sore it going for a really good price a once in a life time deal I had to go for it there and then) so the plan is the wife and I will be hopefully moving in the next 18 months when we do I will recover my big tank that is sitting in my uncles out house (thanks uncle Jack) and that will free up the Juwel vision 450 to be cleaned and made into a Marine tank to hold a pair of clown fish (a project I have wanted to get of the ground for years) Of course If we cannot move then the Clown Loach will have to go to new homes something that would break my hearty but they mean so much to me if I had to I would.

I did worry about the Rainbows as they are quiet big fish and they like a bit of swimming room but they appear to be doing well now, compared to what they were kept in and the condition they were exsisting in when I rescued them. We lost a few but the ones that survived there colours are amazingly bright which I understand is one possible sign the fish are happy or at least content.

Rest assured Ammonia is non exsistent in my tank (as far as testing goes and I do check!) obviousley there is some otherwise there would be nothing to feed the bacteria but I am not going to go in to all that there is no need. Nitrates are kept low, very Low I appear to have an OCD that requires me to do an 80% water change if it starts looking like it will go over 10, maybe extreme but I am happy to be a bit obsessive about water quality.

So Carlovel1 thank you for your concern I must admit I see and hear about other peoples set ups on here and cringe with concern but in my case I think my plan is reasnobley well set.

Regards onebto.

Lovely tank mate, really like the setup. Was thinking about upgrading to a juwel 450 but opted for the oak tanks from MHA, not quite as big 380l but I like it.

Again well done with the tank, keep it up.

lovely markings on the clowns.

I request....no, actually I demand a FTS!

Another clowny fan  I really haven't got the space - my community tank is 160 litre. My solution is to buy half inch babies and raise them to two inches before moving them on. They're just too playful to miss out on.

Great tank by the way. Would like to see how it looks at the moment.
