Thought I'd share my strangely aquascaped 125 Roma with you all lol. I guess it's a kind of Indian theme with the head, sand etc! I've added more live plants and removed some of the left hand some ornaments since I last took this photo so I'll come back with some new ones later! It's all grown in much nicer too as you'll see in the next few photos. :)

Nice looking tank!

Really like the wood and rock placements, looks good.

Don't want to be the bearer of a bit of bad news, the two plants at front corners look suspiciously like Dracaena Houseplants....the leafy green and white ones.

I did the exact same thing as you when I first set up my tank, now these plants have since been repotted and are growing fairly well!!

Best to take these 2 plants out really. They will probably die within 6 months since are not aquatic plants and the roots and leaves will rot, possible may give ammonia spike....

Sorry!

Haha you are awesome mate! Another person from another forum said exactly the same thing and I was waiting for someone to notice. WELL SPOTTED! I just took 1 of them out because one of the leaves is rotten, but I'll take both out now and plant them in a pot.

Thanks for the comments though, I'd like to get an external to free up some space.

I'll come back with some new pics soon.

That Fluval Filter you have, presumably U2, is a decent little filter.

I had the same when I first got my Roma 90, not a bad little filter, easy access to the filter media, 3 different flow outputs (4 if you include venturi) and not badly priced in most LFS, could do lot worse than this.

A little bit bulky and takes up valuable fishy swimming space!

Basically for these last 2 reasons within a month or two I did swap to an external filter, whoo, much better!
Won't go back to internal if I can avoid it!

If you get an external, keep the U2 just in case anything ever goes wrong or use it for a new tank if you ever get another.

You almost got it... it's a U3 haha.

It does do an excellent job, the water is always spot on and stays really clear. I just want it for the ease of maintenance and better filtration for the fish, oh and the space of course.

The concavity really makes your tank cool!  You pulled of the centered look really well. :)  Very cool!

Thanks Neon! Here's an update... not a great pic but it'll do. This is after, 4 months or so? I meant that's how long she's been setup!
