Hi all,
As many if you are aware, I recently had a huge disaster with a shipping company that resulted in the death of 2 beautiful rams and a shrimp. Happily, 2 of the riffles survived and the plants are fine.
Here are my ' little ' riffle shrimp. I have 2 and am getting 3rd. Here is one that was out and about for me.

Shrimp

Here he is again

Tank is about 6 gals and has 2 big shrimp and ~30 smallish ones. Moss on some wood and Anubias too live there

Here is my ' big ' 90 liter aquarium. Just recently got plants in for it. I think it looks kinds neat :p

Side shot, you can see my ' purple ' plant  looks more brownish IMO

Tank is 90 liters and has 9 flame tetras, 7 rummynose tetras and 5 peppered cories. It's also home to ambulia ( so long as I don't kill it like my other ambulia ), java moss, deep ' purple ' echinodorus, Anubias, crypts, banana lilies, hair grass, lilaeopsis, hygrophila Pisces, java fern, lace fern and regrettably algae.
Let me know what you think in the comments below! :)

Both tanks are looking good, sorry to hear about the rams and one riffle shrimp, but at least they are replacing the riffle.
In the 90L tank how deep is that sand? Or have you go a aquarium soil substitute under the sand? If its all sand just watch out for anaerobic activity happening in its depths.

Both tanks look gorgeous, TallTree, I demand you show more pictures of your tanks in future! ;)

Nice one!

Like the 90 litre tank set up a lot!

The riffles look cool.

Will you be planning to get any more stocking to replace the ones you lost due to the shipping?

Beautiful tanks! :)

Thanks everybody! :)

The sand looks quite deep but it's really only about 2-3 inches at its deepest. It is all one hundred percent sand.
What do you mean by anaerobic activity? Still relatively new to sanded aquariums. ;)

Thanks! The online pet shop wil replace my pair of rams and my riffle as soon as they're back in stock. Might be a day, might be four months lol.

Thanks :)

Due to a water catastrophe about a week ago, I now only have 2 flame tetras and 7 rummynose. :(
On a happier note, I have since corrected such water disasters.
On a happier note again, the fish shop has rams back in stock. :) They're shipping mine out this week.
I've ripped out some plants that weren't doing so well. The banana lilies have hit the surface and have made lily pads. :flowers:
Everything else is going well.
Here it is:

Riffle shrimps are fine, very healthy.
In future I want to get more rummynose tetras and a peppermint bristlenose. I also want to get plants such as aponogeton crispus, compact bleheri echinodorus and red tiger lotus.

Tank looks really good .

I like it a lot.

Can't wait to see it with more Rummies :)

Loving the 90!! And that little shrimp is SO cute!! Just want to sqidgy his cheeks!!
Also, i like the flame tetras, they look like theyve been charcoaled don't they ;)

So sorry for your losses TT!

Hope the new additions arrive safely & settle in quickly.

Thanks guys.

So today my rams arrived!
Got a pic of the male and female. I'll post up.

Is it normal for rams to sometimes sit on the substrate on their 2 front fins? They seem really healthy otherwise.

Not sure if this one is male or female... I knew when I took the picture but I've forgotten.

Nice one TT :)

Liking the Rams.

Sorry cant help with telling what gender they are.
