The carpet is dwarf chain swords(i don't know the scientific name). And the reason it grew in so thick and lush is because i am running pressurized co2. The back round plant is vasneria. And yes i don't think pics do the plants justice.

Very nice :)
Thanks, i saw that piece of driftwood at my lfs and just had to have it. As soon as i found out it was only 20$ i was already thinking of how i could use it.

Looks good mark :good:

Although, it looked good before too haha, Iv got a bit of an addiction to large pieces of bog wood the now, think it looks great.

But nice job all the same, that carpet looks amazing!

Thanks, the carpet just looked a little to thick and tall in that part of the tank (as it was more than half the way up the tank lol). And when i saw the bog wood i automatically thought of putting it in the corner to make it look like a fallen tree.
Glad you liked it :D

slightly drastic dont you think? haha no it does look nice in the second picture i think the wood breaks up with the picture well. tempted for a big center piece of rock?

Thanks, and if over time i decide i do not like how it looks anymore it would only take about 2 weeks to grow back in lol

Love it! :hyper:

I'd love to start a propper planted tank one day, I just get bored though with all the ferts an what not. Or at least I did last time, I only have java fern left
