Hmm. You put this in the coldwater section, so I assume that you have it in a tank or pond wiht goldfish at low temperatures. Seeing as how these are tropical fish and require temps in the 70's, how is the fish doing? Are you aware of its temperature requirements?

i am aware of this, the ideal temp for a plec is 74f and 73 for the fantails i keep. so i think he will be ok.

its a gibby or sailfin plec, i have one too, very pretty and good tempered plec, also grows fairly large
