My Oddballs

saltwater snowflakes are basically the same as G tiles....except they are a lot more active and tend to escape more. they also tend to bite and eat more lol. They are a lot more fun to have then G tiles but I like them both the same. Remember, your snowflake WILL hog all the live food. Unless u teach them to eat dead fish, make sure the g tile has some food =]

yea make your saltwater look saltwater. Change the gravel to crushed coral sand, Add some live rock. And get some coral.
That saltwater tank is pathetic, but you have beautiful eels! i love snowflakes i used to have one from when it was a baby to when it was 5ft long.

its like mine tha has bogwood and sand!!! I suppose I shoud change it

Jaws what do you do to tank to keep snowflake other than just raise salinity with salt. Its just there is a snowflake in a LFS I went to yesteerday and I thought of yours. My salinity now is 1.013 and I have two G Tiles like yours but want a snowflake

It's worth noting that the snowflakes you're thinking of is a marine fish and unless the G. tile can handle the full marine conditions, it probably isn't the best idea.

Oh and sg= Specific Gravity or salinity

I'm getting the impression from a thread I started on marine forum that the G Tiles will prefer marine as it gets older and will have no problem becoming that now, so I'm going to up my salinity to 1.018 and get the snowflake

Jaws I may have asked before but what salinity are you at with your eel tank, I'm going to get the snowflakeon Ssaturday :good:
