My Ocean Reef

Ok seen as i am ordering my tank tomorrow i thought it might be a good idea to start my journal now! Although i will most likly have to wait untill the end of next week before the cabinet is built and the tank filled with water.


So to start with as it stands i have:

2x 13.63kg CaribSea Aragonite sand
30kg of Live Rock

Ok , sorry i was a little vague. Tank will be a Juwel Rio 240. Am told the Shrimp is doing great living in his sump. The others well i dont think anyone would be able to tell which were mine so told him he can keep the others.

if i were you i would swap the blue hermits for all reds, or you could come home to a few casualties! i would also throw a handful of nerite snails into the mix

Well, to be honest the blue legs are better workers, seem to eat more, so I would always go for the blues. Would agree you need some sand shifting snails, like Nass Vibex or ceriths

+1 to the dwarf blues. They can get into tiny spaces between rock where food likes to rot.

Wow thats an impressive looking stock list, I wouldn't have the money for all them lol.

But I guess if you take it nice and slow then there should always be finances there lol
