My Newest Piercings!

They look fanatstic and will look much better with spikes! I really want to get more piercings / tattoos but it's having the cash(more so for the tattoos). Also a bit worried about having anything new dangling with my toddler around she's whacked me in the mouth a few times and hit my labret and that hurt so I hate to think how sore a fresh piercing would be.

Hey they look great. I don't often come into this section of the forum but was enticed in by the title. I am interested in the procedure. I can't quite picture the way it is done. I would guess they make a small hole and then kind of scratch under the skin to make the space for the plate. I am itching to get another piecing as its been about 6 years now since I got my lip done. I could hide something like that in a cool place like on the inside of my arm or on my side or something. I have a good friend who lives with a piercer so I might ask him about it.

Nice. That was pretty quick but I can imagine it stings a little more than a conventional piercing due to the moving the needle part and pushing the jewlery in but otherwise it didn't look bad at all. I think I would still have to deep breath and close my eyes for that one.

My piercer isnt very experienced with it so it took him a little longer to get mine in..so it hurt a little more than it probably should have!
The trick is to just completely relax and close your eyes. Works for me :)

Ooo what else are you planning?
I'm probably getting either my eyebrow or a Medusa next.
Medusa! Medusa!

For piercings, I'm getting the rook and tragus on my left ear, a couple of lip rings opposite my nostril piercing, and a piercing or two in more... eh... private areas. I kinda want a VCH and triangle, but I'm going to do the VCH first to see how I like it and then decide for sure on the other (she says, knowing nobody but people into bodymods will have the slightest idea what she's talking about .) Also maybe some more cartilage piercings, but those will kinda be an afterthought after I have everything else done, if so.

Also this tat on my back (this is the next big project)

and these on my wrists

There will probably be more tats than that, but that's all I have designed right now. It's going to be a full-body theme.
Do you have any tats and/or planning on getting some/more?

I found a pretty good video of how its done on Youtube:

Guy getting a dermal anchor

(Don't watch if you're a little bit squeamish lol)
!!!Now I want it done even worse, that doesn't look bad at all!!!
Exciting.

I still dunno about a medusa. I REALLY REALLY want one but it's kinda hard with work and all. I might have to wait until I get a different job that allows facial piercings. I might just go with the eyebrow cos that way I can cover it up with my hair.

Oh man I think even I'm too much of a baby to get a 'private area' piercing haha. For a start I wouldnt know what to get because there are SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES aaaand it would HURT. Eh, I'll probably get one one day.
I reckon go with VCH first like you said. Just think of the benefits it would provide! :hey:

No I havent got any tats YET. I'm in the process of designing a dragon which I might get on my forearm. I'm heaps hesitant about a tattoo though because they are sooo permanent. But I reckon after I get my first one I wont be able to stop haha.

Those are the first neck piercings I have seen that I actually like. All you see around here are the bars that too me always look like they are trying to work their way out of the skin.

Thanks! :)
That's because they're surface piercings which VERY RARELY fully heal. And you're right, they are trying to 'work their way out' because the body rejects them. Happens to all surface piercings including eyebrow. I think some belly button/navel piercings can grow out too.

Yep, navel piercings like to reject as well. Nasal bridge piercings are also prone to it if they are pierced too shallow, but I have a lot of flesh between the skin and bone on my bridge so there was plenty of space to pierce it deep, I don't think mine is going anywhere. My nip piercings migrated forward a little during the first week of healing, but luckily they decided to stay put!

Catfish, I'm going to PM you the site that renewed my interest in south-of-the-border piercings. It shows pics of each and gives detailed descriptions of how much they hurt/don't hurt and what benefits they provide, if any. :D

Ah I want a bridge piercing too! I also want a septum piercing but its the only piercing my mum has completely put her foot down about. She HATES them. I have to move out before I get it haha.

And thanks for that link...it has certainly given me encouragement :p

Sorry, no offence intended, but you scare me!

I had a nipple pierced once, but those dermal anchors remind me of the borg too much!
