UPDATE:
Added 8 rummys to the tank now and there loving it space speeding from one end to the other, I also have my cardinals in there but there going to a new home tomorrow.....
once there out im going to add to my cory numbers and hopefully start to add some plants as long as i can keep away from the brown algae

Looks really cool....... can I make a constructive comment without being seen as rude? Shift the heater horizontal and low down behind the rocks so it is out of sight. Your tank is class and I mean this comment in the best ways.

Cheers, i thought you needed to have the heater at a angle and not horizontal or vertical am i rong?

Actually IMO, low and horizontal will allow the thermostat to get a more accurate measure of the tank temp, given that the hot water will rise and the thermostat is in the upper section of the heater. In my main tank mine is hard against the bottom horizontal, out of sight, and have no problems with it.

ToDays UPDATE:

Removed my 10 Cardinals and sent them on there way to there new home
and been to LFS this afternoon they still had some bronze corydoras
left from the same shipment as the ones i have already
so i got 4 more to make a propper shoal of 6

there a bit fast for the camera phone to catch so sorry no picks yet
new camera is on the xmas list......


EDIT: Dam i can now only find 5 bronze corys defo had 2 this morning and defo put 4 in this afternoon

unless the math rules have change i make that 6
but i can only find 5 maybe he is hiding

To Days UPDATE:

As im of work this week i had a trip to Planted Tanks in selby, sadly he was still waiting for his stock that should
have arived at 4am this morning rarther him than me, Anyway i met tony great guy gave me lots of advice on whats was easy to keep and hopefully i will be able to I was abit disappointed he was low on stock but that how it goes i should have rang first

So i came away with, if i can remember there names please correct me if im rong:

1 Anubia nana Petite
2 Anubia Nana Golden
2 Anubias Coffeefolia
3 Cryptocoryne beckettii
2 small crypto (for free)
out of that i got:

1 anubia petite
4 nana golden
3 coffeefolia
7 crytocoryne


i also got on the way home 5 Vallisneria Spiralis
and got around 17 stems from that

Nice! I think it looks great! Rummys are fab aren't they?! it looks like you have peppered and bronze corydoras? Am on my phone so maybe it's that, but that's what it looks like? If that's the case they'd prefer larger shoals or all to be the same species...

By the way, if you are still interested in my lonely apisto cacatuoides male and promise to get him some lady friends then I might be able to persuade my man-wife to make a trip over to you at the weekend...

I'm having a debate about stock and I don't know if he fits in it...

I do have some peppered 2 of them and i have 6 bronze at that time they was all over the place....

Yes, QSS has them in, and will sex them for you too (they know their stuff there ) to make sure you only get females.

Thats where i got the vallis from they have just had a there stock in

He is lush, they only have few in stock i was looking at them today
