To me when I see this in the room, its too blue. Is it the lighting I have (6700K)

doesn't look blue from your picture , maybe some kind of background would satisfy you .

The plants will also fill in , just be patient .

The tank looks good to me .

I am using a 2x65 watt coralife power compact strip light with 6700K spectrum

Like the previous post said, all it needs is a background and it will look perfect.

Also most people use warm white (2700k) lights to set a warm feeling to the room, so a 6700K light in a room with 2700k room look blue.

See it looks blueish with the eye but the camera does not pick it up. To me it looks more like a coralreef from the other side of the room I am used to my old 20 gallon with a 18,000K aqua glo spectrum

maybe its my eyes thats getting old but 6700K is ( to me ) very white and 18 000k ( to me ) is pink

I have a 8000k light moonlight thats blue ( to me )

I think with a black background that tank could be tank of the month. What fish are in it?
