Yeah they work well. I have had some in with my Ellioti before, no trouble really as they spend most of their time higher up the water column.

Where did u get the little terracotta pots mine are about the size of a drinking cup but yours look smaller

How young and what size FM? lol. If kept well fed then they should leave them alone. They share a different level of the aquarium most of the time so could possibly work.
