hi all, heres a pic of the latest addition to our family

Photo_0159.jpg

her names sally, shes 6 months old and shes a lop ear lion head.we got her from our local rabbit rescue centre.she was in there cus the owner also had a collie dog and one time the rabbit escaped and the dog was chasing her & got her cornered under the sofa.poor sally nearly died of the shock.

anyway, weve given her a loving home now & shes gona be totaly spoilt, lol!!!

as a side note,if anyones considering getting a new pet of any discription please keep animal shelters in mind as you could save two lifes by giving a rescue animal a good life & creating space in a shelter for another animal to be rescued.thanks!

shaz :D

she's one of a kind definitely!
:good:
is she the only rabbit you have?

you mentioned about addition to the family but not quite sure if you meant family of rabbits.

awwwww what a cutie. Were planning wunny babits (as Ian say's) when we mvoe next yr and have some room.

:D

iJay,shes the only rabbit weve got (we bought her to replace our old rabbit that died 3 months ago,he was 10).i meant our extended family in general,me,my partner,2 lads,5 gerbils,2 guinea pigs, stick insect (my eldest sons-yuk!) and of course the fish, lol.

we went the rescue centre friday & picked her,the my partner spent all weekend making the hutch & run for her (god job hes a carpenter, lol).we fetched her sunday afternoon and settled in straight away.the kids love her & when shes i the house she follows my 3 year old round non stop, its sooooo cute & funny  . :D

miss wiggle, rabbits are great pets.we keep her outside (like we use to keep our old one) but will let her in the house for a few hours every night.its so cute when they jump all over the place or clmb u on you (exspecialy if you sit on the floor).one wordof warning tho,if you have them in the house make sure all wires are hidden etc.plus its also advised to get both males & females neutered at a early age to cut the risk of cancer.

shaz :D
