That plug socket is a bit close to the sink isn't it? Especially with a wet piece of wood laying against it!

I've always said, you can never trust a man who drinks Fosters :P

lol i never built the house but sink is further along worktop.

you could not do it on a "New Build" or during rewiring now. (rules have changes)

Bought two pieces myself an hour ago, where did you get yours from ? Online?

Cant find any on ebay, been looking too, managed to find some in a local shop, after going to 4 others already today

the last trading post is the shop to visit on ebay. i bought 2 bits the other day for my planted set up.

Haha me too Davo - two pieces cost £17.50, may well have to go back and get more sometime. Tried ripples, couple of MA in Telford too, finally thought go to Coxwells and hey presto got the wood and 50kg of gravel the size Id been looking for too - dont know why I didnt go there 1st could have saved a fortune in petrol

ive seen them on thegreenmachineaquatics online but weeeeeeell expensive a piece like the 1 ive got is around 48 quid!! got mine from last trading post for 5.99

got it in soak now. in red hot water to open the pores and get it to sink quicker. any tips to speed things up?

They are definately one of the best around here IMO, never had a bad fish from there and they have some lovely fish, I was avoiding it today as they have some great sev's in there that Im dying to get but cant until the new tank is set up, but in the next couple of weeks I know I wont be able to resist.

Well off to put this wood in the bath for a long soaking, we shall all be smelly for the next few weeks as the bath is off limits

Lol minx

I found Redmoor wood doesn't leak tanins anywhere near as bad as something like Mopani, in fact mine soaked in boiling water for 10mins then went straight into my tank, weighed down by some strategically placed rocks for the first week.
