Hey! I got the male today, hes a lovely red colour with a patchy pink/red head and lovely long fins. Hes only been in the tank about an hour and he seems very happy and hes already begging for food but i've told him non til tomorrow! =] His fins are a bit raggid but with good care he should be ok and hes got such a nice personality, Hes unamed atm but im looking on the internet at names with greek meanings so he should be named soon, well here he is =],
Will post better pics later, these were just as he was in the bag,

so you did go with Alphie? that's fun...now to find names for my boys (whom ive had for many many months-years in two cases)...i guess im not good at naming fish. this case is an exception. Alphie just popped into my head from the very first shot :hyper:
how's he settling in? he is a cutie pie!
looking forward to updates and more pics :)

Yep hes called Alphie, thanks so much i wanted a name with a bit of greek to it and this is perfect lol :good: Well actually hes not too good, it seems he more of a rescue betta as hes been acting very down all day hanging in the bottom of the tank and hes not been very well on closer inspection he has a few salt like specs on his fins and tail, i think im going with a white spot med course which i have, i dotn regret getting him he may be 'ill' but he would of just died at the pet store atleast here if he survives he gets a second shot at life :D.
