I like the feeling that you've "rescued" a fish, there were these 2 female platies that were tiny and raggedy and looked like they were on their last legs at my lfs but after a month of good care (well, I hope I give them good care) they're like new again

Yeah i totally agree Tonight i treated the male tank with white spot and added some aquarium salt, hes still not eating but im not too worried as hes new anyway. Hopefully in a couple of days he should be ok and can live a happy life with me, i am willing to do a new setup every 2 weeks and look after him brill xx Good on you hodgegeg rescuing the platies!
