Cheers. Thats a bit of a trek for me though. Anyway all the fish look great :good:

I once did 54 miles each way for a pair of west african blockheads! I really like them but they are so hard to find by me and now I have 3 males and 1 female! I need to lose 2 males for 2 females!

Just had a quick look around the website and ill definatly have to think about it once the tanks up and running. £4.95 seems a great price for F1s.

Awsome fish, especially the Steatocranus male! ;)

Are you sure you would want to risk three pairs of these spawning, if I was to use send you my two unpaired juve females, for just the cost of you covering the transport via dedicated courier like APC (the ones "VickiandKev" recommend for safe movement of fish)?

My spawning pair have caused mayhem in the 240 over the last three weeks, so much so that they now only share the tank with the juve male African Butterfly, as they savagely attacked all other occupants (resulting in at least two deaths). The parents are constantly adrenaline rushed, looking out for threats, the mum often does random twitches as if she if pumped full of caffeine!

Like I said, my unpaired two are juveniles of ~5.5cm SL now living in the 540l, they look like females at present but there's no guarantee. Let me know if interested, but only if you are prepared to cover the cost of a "proper" courier. If it makes it more worth your while, you could hang on until the fry are over three months old and then have a youngster to raise too (only one mind, as we don't want to risk inbreeding brothers and sisters ;) ).

They are a decent sized shop some things are really quite cheap but others a terribly overpriced IMO. Just check prices before you order!

what a stunning collection,oh id have had the stunning tilapi

Thanks Nelly, The tilapia is lovely just not really my thing. It was a birthday present but as we all know fish as presents doesn't always fit in with our plans! If you change your mind let me know! :shifty:

I would be interested, qoute would be needed first. I would be having them over 2 tanks as they are way to small to go in with the big hitting cichlids! Also there's no guarentee they will pair, the supposed breeding pair I got have not spawned yet. They are digging pits around the plant pots! Fry are always good!
I had what I thought was a female, I went in one day and it had extensions on the dorsal  So in short yes I would be interested depending on cost. Maybe we could use the returning courier to bring you the tilapia? :hey:  :shifty:
