My New Blue Smokey Pearlscale Angel

hey guys.

quick pic of my new baby, a "medium" sized Blue Smokey Pearlscale (Sm/+ - pb/pb - p/p) from AngelfishUSA. everytime I go there I come out with an amazing fish at a great price, and this time I got myself a birthday present!

picture doesnt do him much justice. i have to learn to photograph pearlscales better...he acclimated right away. picture taken within 2 hours of adding him to the tank.

this type of angelfish is not available at pet stores and probably wont be
for at least a couple more years.
this is part of the latest in angelfish genetics, coming directly from Ken Kennedy in
the Phillipines. it's all very exciting

anyone interested in getting some of these, there are a few breeders selling a few fish.
i would recommend AngelfishUSA - www.angelfishusa.net - as that is where I go buy all
my angels from

hey guys...got some new pictures of the fish.

the first one captured much better detail, so you can see the shine in the pearlscale and his patterns better. the blue is better than the first photo but not as good as it is in real life!

this other picture lost most of the detail due to the high iso setting to avoid using flash...but you get a much better idea of all the blue this fish is already showing at this young age...colors are not enhanced!
