i ordered mine from joby today too. just need to pay her!

mine should be posted next tuesday as im not working on wednesday so will be here waiting for him.

am so excited! my first betta wahoooooooooo :D

:/ I am not getting any more through the post I have hardly slept :look: honestly. I had a dream when they came they were guppies the bags had got mixed up. Got bad headache now...made hubby get up because he is on fish signing duty! gonna take mobile to school so he can ring me when they come! I hope Clancy and Amos are ok. (I was even looking at names when I should have been doing OU course. Clancy for the red one = red warrior and Amos for other meaning brave)

Oh dear, you made me giggle

I was the same too when I first got some through the mail and when I started to send them. It does get easier.

Good names you've picked for them

They should be none the worse for their journey, usually just need a hour or so to settle and should act normally. Will be hungry too :D

waiting, waiting, waiting....tap, tap, tap....waiting, waiting, waiting....

Are they there yet?

:D :D They arrived at 8.50 I got home at 11.45 and they are fine Amos is swimming around in his tank but Clancy is hiding both had a bloodworm to eat though! :hyper: luckily son was here and he is into fish!

Amos is such a show off. He is in kitchen and is up the end watching us eat our dinner. He has had his. Clancy is not quite so brave he wont come out but he has managed to eat, I will take piccies but dont want to scare them so will leave it a while. I am still waiting for the heat pad to totally cool down  but I still have a headache think I need a lie down.

Maybe clancy has aggraphobia! He was jarred in the barracks next to his brothers so maybe he just needs time to adjust. Amos was in a section of divided tank so is probably enjoying himself being nosey.

The heatpad was 20 hour one and I set it off just before I posted at 4.30pm should be done by now

:/ Amos is very quiet this morning..hope he is just a bit stressed out from his journey....sitting at top of tank and looks a bit paler than yesterday...just leaving him to have a little rest...the other one is behaving normally!

Aww bless him, he is probably just getting used to his new surroundings and your water etc. Remember I told you that he was one with SBD issues and likes to rest. He used to fix himself to the filter here, lazy devil, and just watch the world go by

Is he next to another betta? All my boys are kept near eachother so was wondering as he could be missing the sitmulation of the others.

I had some shipped last week and one of them is still swimming around clamped and sulking although he has started eating and now coloured up, but it does take time with some of them :/

Has Clancy stopped hiding now then?

I am always a little concerned with constipation after recieving a fasted and shipped Betta. I'm sure that Joby knows her boys. They sound special.

Am I confused ?I thought it was the red one who has sbd and its the turq/white who is very quiet? They can see each other now I have moved the cardboard that was between the tanks! Thats cheered them up a bit. Cant do that with my other boys I let them see each other for 5 mins a day or they wear themselves out!

They had bloodworms yesterday so I will try them with a few betta granules later. One of my bettas the oldest one hardly eats anything..but I have had him ages so he eats something but the bottom of his tank has old food in there so I have to clean him out quite a bit!
