u are right that the tank is too small for a FULL GROWN oscar but not a tiny little one soo i can keep him a while yet until i get a bigger tank which hopefully wont be long

if i was you id take it back now, while you still have the chance to get something for it.. if your fish store has an exchange rate take it back and say its been fighting with ''the other fish in the tank'' and get something smaller that will live in a 20g

You have the oscar bug dont you there hard to keep away from once you have them, i have one in a 20g for now as well but its only for another month or so untill he gets his 90g to himself. I know its hard to uderstand and i dont think you will take him back but belive me when they get sick they really get sick and grumpy. Do you know if the fish shop will hold him while you get a bigger tank setup? i must say as well you picked a nice little fella.

Sorry guys but, he said that fish is 2 inches head to tail is a really small fish with 20 gallons to itself. He said his getting a larger tank. I don't see the problem. As long as the fish is going to a larger tank soon.

I used to breed Oscars and I assure you that a month or so in a 20 starting at two inches and with good filtration and water changes isn't going to stunt his growth.
