i have him in a 20g temporarily i no its too small for a big oscar but i just had to buy him, wut do ya think?

Looking very nice indeeed, i had a couple in a 48x18x18 and ended up giving it back to shop (grow faster than you think)... Superb specimens though, eat almost anything you throw at it including dog food and also easily trained to eat out your hand

yea he will grow out of that tank fast... you will need to get a bigger tank or take it back

thanks man, and yeah i heard they grow 4 times faster than any other fish in the world (dunno how truthfull that is buttt) and yeah hes already eating 1 inch cricktes i was so excited hehe took about 1 hour to swollow it tho i was scared he was gonna choke and (unlikely) lol but i shure like him..... or her i dunno!!!

My mate had a massive one years ago, he caught a frog from his garden and whacked it in his fishtank, Oscar mashed it up in one go...

If I were you I would already start saving or buying a new tank for him! You can get a 50Gallon tank with EVERYTHING including stand, filter, heater, fake plants, chems, lights etc. for £190.

If you can afford it i'd go for something similar!... You WONT regret it

Look in your local trade paper - i got my 88gal for £40 - even seen some go for free, if you can get hold of a van, be very much worthwhile..
