youd be surprised how quick it will fill if you are using a hosepipe. if i remember rightly m 4x2x2 took about an hour

my tank takes about 20 mins 825L, hosepipe straight from the washer outlet lol it nearly blows the sides off

tank is flipping fantastic tho, im well jelous, nothing like that comes up for sale around here, i thought the scottish were tight a***d gits, but the welsh could give them a run for there money where parting with a tank for a sensible price is concerned and all my spare cash i going on tarting up my new car at the moment AKA the sherman tank ( bmw 323i coupe) be worth it when its done though im sure,and i will of course be searching the classifieds on a regular basis anyway



when you getting your little princess her first tank? i bet she would love a dora the explorer tank and when she getsolder she can back you up when you "need" a new tank

too rights she is away to get her nails and hair done the day lol and on the tank side pitty you dont live up here theres a 10 x 2 x 2 FREE yes free to whom will pick it up im so tempted lol but i will be getting them chopped off by the boss if i got that tank lmao

thought i would update this thread .......right it took 2 days to get me temp up lol took some old media from the jags cycled tank to put in my filters so there have been running since wednesday im putting my tree (bogwood) in on sat morning and a few big bits of slate then start shifting things about to get it looking good before i even dream of getting the camera oot for it so there will be a few new pics on saturday

i bought two 300w heaters for mine and i only need to use one on the lowest setting lol and the temp stays bang on no fluctuations at all and our house isnt exactly warm but we never have heating on either so dont know how that works lol so all in all a waste of £54 i only use both when i do a water change on full power for about an hour while slowly filling it backup through the sump lol

cant wait to see it fully setup mate i bet its awesome

cheers mate i only used 2 to blst up the temp as the 2 in there are only 200w and my big heaters are in wi the jags so carnt change until i get this tank done and dont wanna go buying new ones lol

thats where i went wrong i gave mine away with the tank i swapped for this big one and a massive pond air pump but i did get a good deal out of it i suppose with the 5ft metal halides,5.6ft x 2ft x 2.6ft main tank with a 4 x 2 x 2 sump ,2 6500lph ocean runners ,vecton uv 25medications testkits and liquids so i think i did not bad there lol

i swapped this 200l mp eheim tank standard light , 1200lph external large airpump and a 300w heater lol

and now got this beast lol its only cloudy because i was messing with the sand and rocks
