right big question my filrt situation im not gona be putting a fx5 on this bad boy do you thin it will be ok to run it on a fluval 305 and 105 if you get me first using the 305 as main running the out into the in of the 105 and then the out to the tank but i will be filling the 105 with carbon and leaving the bio in the bottom heres a pic to show you well ish

surely there would be too much flow from the 305 into the 105 so the 105 coulnt keep up with the amount of water going in?

was talking to the guy who gave me the stand and he just says try running the 2 together by the way i described as i have lost the the tubes for the 105 well lost i havnt got a clue where they are basically its cost me a bomb so far so im trying to save a bit cash thats all

how bout running the 305 as a seperate (by itself) and then buying the pipe work AGAIN for the 105 and just running that one as a carbon pod as its smal so i will be running to externals on the thing

if you were gonna do that id just run them both with bio media in . could well be wrong ( quite often am lol ) but i thought carbon was more for removing meds etc from the water

lol reminds me of when i had some new plants etc delivered for the tank. as soon as i was home from work i got stuck straight into it. prompting snide comments from the missus like i wish you were that on the ball when i ask you to do something for me.
