My Mudskipper Aquarium

Great pictures, I'll be getting some Mudskippers soon, Ive already paid for them, the shop is keeping them for me until their setup is ready, which should be later this week hopefully.

they are awesome
my brother tried getting mudskippers but the lfs never had them. one time they were coming and then someone stole them on the truck  its was so dumb

WOW, u guys really set a beautiful tanks, those mudskippers must be happy as a clam, i wish my lfs had some of those so i could get a few 8), plz post more pics those tank pics are really very gorgious

UPDATE

The Mudskippers have grow slighlty now. One of them (the larger one) is evil, he lives in a cave and he has constructing quite a large burrow out of the soily-mud (I'm pleased I included that now), the burrow is pretty big and he stays in there from time to time. I partly changed the layout so there's another beach at the other end in the hope the other guy might build a burrow.

The less-evil one is very tame now, he clambers onto my hand and I feed him myself. Recently they've been enjoying a diet of mosquito larvae, bloodworm and earthworms. Their colour is pretty good.

I'll try and get some more pics...

wow. nice! are u planning on getting more?

No, these guys hold a lot of territory and already the evil one is dominating the tank. It wont be too soon that I will be upgrading to a larger system, perhaps 80Us gallons with plenty of surface area.

i'm not too sure about mudskipper space and all ;p
i dont remember even seeing one in real life.

Here is a pic of the not so evil Mudskipper on his favourite peice of wood.

Nothing much has happened....

The tank had to be moved to a new location a fortnight ago, so I moved some stuff around in the tank. I also down-graded the filtration (quite a while ago now) to 2 small internal filters as I realised it is only a small amount of water and the Mudskippers are not that bothered by water quality anyway. The external is being used on another tank at present. The water is quite brown due to the amount of bogwood, I also alter the salinity every water change but it's normally at around SG 1.012, it's always humid.

I'll try to get some pics sometime this week when I get time.

Cheers,
Mike
