So, I added some green stuff to my pretty barren 30 gallon. Here is a picture.

Pretty much a 3 vallis, 3 amazon swords, and two java ferns. The tall ones are fake. Can anybody recommend some tall looking plants that can survive low light? 1wpg?

Oh you can see my 6 koi angelfish zipping around. Pleco always elusive unless he is hording a piece of cucumber.

Comments? :D

anarchis get pretty tall and can grow in low lights

nice tank but your gonna have serious issues as soon as those angels mature a bit.

30 gallons is about right for a pair.

with 6, atleast 2 will form a pair and when they decide to spawn the others will suffer/die.

probably why youve already got fin nipping.

I told the co-owners of the tank this(parents). They just have to see it for themselves. Then I can corys or loaches like I wanted. :X

Looking good so far. Thai onion plants are virtually bomb proof and would probably grow in gutter if they could. Theyre the ones in the back left corner of my signature picture and can reach up to 5m long! + they grow mega fast. Highly recommended.

ps. I agree with stocking comment above. Each Angels needs around 10 US gallons ideally + depending on what your plec is you also have to take that into consideration. It's very overstocked to be honest but looks good whilst theyre all small. They can rehome them if there probs anyway. Good luck :good:
