I bought 6 barbs 4 lemon tetras and just a few days later I only have 5 barbs 2 lemon tetras and two of my guppy’s have died what is happening??

p.s. the guppy’s seem to have fin rot

is your tank cycled?

do you have test results for ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte?

when you put fish in your tank you should allways over a pertiod of app 15 min
slowly add water from your tank to the new bag of fish before releasing them to your tank .death from adding fish in any otyer manner than that is dicey .it can also cause fin rot. of you dont want any of your lfs water in your tank ther add
some water to your bag and tip some out and so on until you have totaly changed it all then scoopem out and chuckem in . if your water peramiters are good then some melafix should sortem out
