Here are some full tank shots to start off this thread.  Here is my African cichlid tank.  They are still juvies.  It has been fun watching them grow up from little silver guys without any color into what they are now.  My favorite fish in this tank is my wild caught Congo Eretmodus cyanostctus AKA the Goby cichlid...or as I call him, Gobe.

Here is my Red Belly Piranha tank.  These are some of the most misunderstood fish out there.  A lot of people are disappointed when they purchase these fish and don't get aggressive monsters.  They are very shy and skittish.  These are the fish that captivated me at 16 years old to start my first tank.  They are very hardy and with the right care will come out of their shells.  When I started putting this shoal together I was going to start with juvies but I saw 2 big guys stuck in a small tank and bought them instead.  I picked up the others over the course of a year and ended up rescuing them from pretty horrible lives.  I can tell by the shape of a couple they were fed goldfish their whole lives.  Now I have them on a white fish and shrimp diet.  Sometimes a little poultry for a treat.  I do not feed them any live food.

Both of those are very nice tanks and I love the fish especially the Piranha I've always loved those guys sadly there outlawed in my state so I wasn't able to get any.
What are the smaller fish in with the Piranha?

Thanks.  I live in Michigan and we can own most fish...I guess that's the only advantage to living some place where there is a foot of snow on the ground lol.  The little fish are convicts.  I sell them to the lfs when they get big enough.  They own that tank.  They chase the piranha around sometimes.  It's funny because they are safer with the piranha instead of their parents.

Love both your tanks! Especially your goby cichlid, as I've said before I love his smile. Is he always that aggressive?

 Your piranhas as well! I really wish I could get some, but just like RR, they're not allowed in my state. They're so cute, especially the one who got a huge mouth full. Omnomnom I haz all the food c:

Thanks.  The goby cichlid definitely has his moods sometimes.  He better get it out of his system soon.  I think he is full grown and the others are going to double in size lol.
