My Fish Is Bleeding?

Tetracycline, but if you use it in the main tank it will wipe most of the bacteria out in the filter, so it would be best to treat in issolation if you can.

I can't treat it in isolation sorry and I have never heard or seen that medication in any of my lfs's

Maracyn–Two
Manufacturer: Mardel
A broad-spectrum antibiotic for internal or external gram negative bacterial infections which can even be absorbed through the skin. Effective treatment of fin and tail rot, popeye, gill disease, dropsy (swollen body, protruding scales), septicemia (bleeding or red streaks on the body), secondary and internal infections. Effective even when fish won't eat.
Active ingredient: Mincycline hydrochlor.

Ok I have seen that before which type should I get I think there's tablets and a bottle or something like that.

Most go with tablet form.

From what I remember reading, most bactrial infections are caused by gram positive bacteria, not gram negative. Regardless, I agree with Wilder that it is septcemia, which is symptom of a bacterial infection, not a specific bacteria.

I would recomend treating with Kanamyacin (aka Kanacyn, K-myacin) or tetracycline. These are broad spectrum antibioitcs. If you can't find either of these, then i would look for Eythromyacin (E-myacin, maracyn) and combine it with maracyn 2 (aka minocycline).

Good luck Austin

He is now having more of a struggle to swim, he is pointing up a little and keeps doing sharp movements back and forth to swim but it's not ich. Is it to late to treat, if not I might go get some meds right now.

To be honest yes it sounds to late, sorry.

Really that's not good, should I kill it to put it out of it's misery.

should I still get meds in case it's still in the water

How will you do it, bless him he sounds stressed as well.

Water changes on the main tank for a few days should be enough.

I'm thinking of doing what Stealrhair (i think that's how you spell it) method of freezing water or freezing him in a bag of water in the freezer since that slowly slows down there immune system and slowly kills them but I think painless.

I think he tips cold water over them.
