My Fish Are Rubbing On Stuff

So I can't trade my fish in, new rule now so now I am
Having to rehome them

Try donating them. My LFS won't buy or credit fish, but you can essentially "donate" unwanted fish. :good:
Have you tried API StressCoat for dechlorinator? It has aloe vera in it, which may soothe whatever is irritating the fish :good:

no i havent but ill try that when i go back to the store after sunday i got some thing similar to it when i rescued a sunfish but its more for sores idk if that would work or not,
and ill see if i can donate them i know other lfs around where i live

Personally, if the water tests ok, I would be treating for parsites, most fish, if not happy, get on with living alone or in odd numbers, parasites would be a far more likely cause of the flicking second to the water quality and nitrite/ammonia levels.

That and if the fish were never treated by the shop after being imported, they'll need it.

I'll definitely recommend waterlifes sterazin ... mine have stopped flicking already. It's surprised how quickly it's worked

Ok I'll try and find it but my lfs doesn't have much and I don't have the money right now so I'll have to wait until Friday

it cost just £4.50 so not that expensive really. Good luck and I hope your fish are better soon :)

Rubbing and 'Flashing' can be a sign of stress, often attributed to poor water conditions. Are you doing regular water changes? Suggest you do a 50% water change and see if there is improvement.
