Love the tank mate. Awesome !! Couple of questions if you don't mind.

1. What type of sand is it ?

2. What lighting tubes do you use ?

3. How long did you soak your logs for ?

1. What type of sand is it ?

Argos Playsand £2.49 per 15kg. i used 2 bags

2. What lighting tubes do you use ?

Standard Juwel Lighting 2x30 watt.. one warm one daylight (something like that)

3. How long did you soak your logs for ?

3-4 weeks before putting them in, and still getting abit of tanins That big old knarly bit in the middle is quite dense and has taken a while.. it has a cool little hole in the middle that fish can swim through too.. little ones that is. The other bit is mopani..

Cheers. U'd better copyrite your tank because i want mine to look exactly the same. Absolutely love it. The simpler the better i say.
