My First Fishy Adventure!

The cories are Corydoras trilineatus, three lines as Sam called them. They are delightful fish. I have several tanks with groups of them in each tank as cleanup crew. They are one of my favorites. If you had true julii cories you would know it. The price paid would remind you.

I really don't mind which type they are, just that they're healthy and I'm happy to pay the price.

Some rams next I think :)

If anyone can help with a question I posted here: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/394949-german-blue-rams/ I would be grateful :)

So those are German blues? I wish my bolivians were that stunning, but what temp are you keeping the water at? The tetras and corys like it around 77* and the rams like 82-84?

I looked at Bolivian rams because they were a lot cheaper but couldn't resist these. The tank is around 26 degrees, the lower limit for the Rams but the upper limit for the other fish. I am keeping a close eye on how they are coping.

That's about 79..... That's not the lower limit for the Germans if it was I'd have some lol. In celcius your other fish prefer about 25 and these like about 27.

Either way I guess I wouldn't wanna keep it below that for them but I wouldn't wanna go above 78 for the corys but I guess it's your choice.

GBRs and Bolivians are the same identical species if I recall it correctly. The German's have simply been bred for the particular color characteristics and are a bit more fragile since hardiness was not the objective of that breeding program.
