My Dead Bettas

I order a pair of bettas on Aquabid from Starbetta and I had to pay $59.20 total for everything. He is from Thailand and he had to ship it to the transhipper. I chose prioity mail because I figure that everyone picks that to save money and also most of the time bettas don't die. Anyways...when I got my bettas they were dead. Here are the pictures of them. One Male HMPK and One Female HMPK also.

such a shame, am sorry, most likely been sitting in that bag for days

not sure i really agree with fish being flown half way around the world in bags, i tend to stick to home growns, (and i know the arguements FOR flying fish around the plant on aircraft dont worry peeps LOL)

some peeps think Siamese Fighters are able to live through anything (no filter etc) but they still fish at end of the day, sorry bout this

Yeah he is but for real he's not suppose to because if i chose the prioity mail there will be NO GUARANTEE LIVE FISH they said. The reason why he's giving me 2 more new HMPK bettas is that Starbetta doesn't want to lose his customers. The transhipper did put another heatpack in for free. It suppose to be only one heatpack but since its so cold over here at Wisconsin that she put an extra heatpack for free. So right now all i had to do was pay the transhipper $18.80 for the new bettas that they are going to send me by next week wednesday. CAN'T WAIT!!!

OK. perhaps it is just me but I couldn't order any more. Its not worth it, those poor fish, cant you get them from where you live?

Don't want to turn this thread into a flaming thread, but I do tend to agree with the above reply.

it's really sad that they died, but MAN the amount you paid for those bettas, you shouldn't have to pay ANYTHING for replacements, that's just me. i'd be furious! this is exactly why i don't want to order my fish online. although this website drs foster and smithhas a 14 day arrive alive and stay alive guarantee.. sounds pretty good to me, only problem is you can't pick out the fish you want, they just sent you whatever.
