Hi, good news, just tested my water and ammonia has started to drop, only slightly but its going down.
I have also just transfered 15-20% of my other tanks media across but just done that now so hoping for 1ppm ammonia by tomorrow night fingers crossed.
Just done a nitrite test and its off the scale/5ppm so hope fully that should start to drop as well
still not adjusted my PH but think i still will to help speed things up

The cycle should work without raising the pH - it's just something that can be tweaked if you think your cycle is stalling. But from what you wrote it sounds like it's doing great.

Thought i would add a few pics of my tank, nothing exiting yet but buying lots this weekend hopefully.

The tank how has a 300W rena heater in place of the 100W elite.

I dont think you have stalled as you only started on the 31st of jan.
The nitrite (spike) phase is at least twice as long as the ammonia phase.
If you post the day your on with your results as well together with the ph.
Is the temperature at 29c?
Have you got an airstone in there? I think you might have.

The nitrite (spike) phase is at least twice as long as the ammonia phase. Oh right never knew that. But my ammonia is staying a 0.5ppm over 24hours
If you post the day your on with your results as well together with the ph. Ok will start testing PH as well
Is the temperature at 29c? its at 30C
Have you got an airstone in there? I think you might have. Yeah there's an air stone but its only on for 6-8 hours a day because its too loud
