My boyfriend killed my betta!!

Hit and run. Its a crime.
Punishment.

"oh btw the that you knocked over is leaking (hide now so no proof). And my filter is broken, and the heater... well its ok honey.. I understand. Now when we are shopping for the replacement... 55g, I think we need to get a stand so you dont knock it over again."

Very sorry about the fish.

Not impressed with the boyfriend. If he was that drunk, hes a dumbass!!

Lose the GIMP!!!

Hmm- Did I post that here? ( the flag fin shiner thing). If I did I apologize,. Wonder what I was thinking, :/ .

Any person that would willingly let a living being die for no reason is not worth being around. Being drunk is not a reason- it's an excuse.
Won't tell ya what to do, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Very sorry about your betta. :( *hugs*

St.cichlid, could you please be a bit more considerate? Canyon_rayne has just lost some fish and I don't think she needs criticism right now.

Canyon_rayne, I'm sorry to hear about your bettas. :( Whatever you decide to do (regarding your bf), I wish you luck

And when did a 12 year old become the worlds formost expert on drunkenness? I think that we all (including myself) need to learn more about the situation before we make any more recomendations
And could someone who knows anything about fish give us a ruling on the velvet thing?

last post. velvet is a diesease that eats away at fishes flesh and is highly contagus and makes fish sluggish like ick and i know aboot drukenness because my brother did as i described

hehe crimson that is a ghost post... lots of them floating around.

I'd like it if we could get an assesment of what happened from a REAL fish expert not a fake guru who hijacks threads. and Canyon If you only had the little guy for a week can you still return it. If he had a desies that was charactorized by large golden patches I think that the average LFS would see that.

Just as long as I wasnt posting on the wrong threads. :)

I'm trying to think of a way to help with the fishy thing. :-(
As far as I know I've never really had a problem with fish diseases.
I had thought freshies could get velvet, :dunno: .

When you figure it out and get your tank little tank clean I got an idea for ya.

Instead of adding another fish- why don't you do a mini dutch tank?
Use some plants suitable for a small tank and just go wild!
Imma do one like a terrestrial landscape with "bonsai" in it. :)
It might be too much trouble though- having a baby and all. (would mean alot of trimming).
Maybe put a couple Ghost Shrimp in it?
*hugs* :flex: <closest face to a hug,lol.)
