So I had 2 fully stocked tanks where the bacteria was accidentally killed, a 29 gallon & a 7 Gallon. So by the suggestion of fellow members I purchased Bio-Spira. The first time I used it it didn't work because I was using Prime to condition the water. I contacted Marineland (maker of Bio-Spira) and they told me to use a product that was only a declorinator and not an ammonia remover. The second round of Bio-Spira worked great (granted I doubled the dose) Both tanks are now fully cycled in around a weeks time! Thank God no more massive water changes! The annoying thing is that I also set up a five gallon with 3 female bettas and used Bio_spira/double dose as well and it didn't take..Since it worked in the other two tanks I'm willing to give it another try. I'd definitely recommend it!
