My Bettas Tail Types?

Your male is a very nice shade of blue indeed, good pics too. Regarding the female, can someone knowledgeable explain the stripes? Is that just the normal colouration? Is it standard splendens patterning, or is it particular to plakats or anything?

Horizontal stripes indicate a degree of stress. It could just be that she's in a new environment. At certain times ours show them when there's a bit of bickering going on.

oooh i never thought about her stripes, the other ones in the shop had them too so i just assumed it was normal , ill put a couple more pix up, they show up a bit more when the tank light is on, theyre not as obvious when its off she just looks a greeny brown colour.

and the pc hehe, yes its a gaming pc, its actually my boyfriends pc as hes the one who signed up for the forum, but i use it more than he does. My pc isnt much different, again meant to be a gaming pc but its not that good, need to get a bit more ram and itll be a lot better!

i know its a bit misleading cuz theres two of us who post under the same name we shud have alternating avatars with our photos on them!
