My Bettas Just Spawned!

Like I asked...WHY are you breeding your fish again? You really shouldn't have bred them in the first place. How do you plan on raising the fry? Do you have at least a 40 gallon grow out tank, sponge filter, heater, syphon, gang valve, live food cultures, jars for male juvies, plans for homing the fish?

The last betta I didn't mean that veil tail bettas were ugly I meant the babys would be ugly because they will be all dull colors since they were lfs fish. Pretty betta here is a list of everything you should have gotten before you started.

I have a ffew people who want the fry. I have a million jars a cobert full of them. The petsmart people said I don't need a sponge filter, I have a heater going now, I have a syphon, mom and I are going to get food when the eggs hatch. Umm the tank thing I think I may have a problem, but mom and I will figure that out.

Please, before you spawn again, figure everything out FIRST. Okay? Here, please read this information and as much OTHER information as you can before you attempt to spawn your bettas again.
GOOD INFORMATION

I've been preparing to spawn for 7 months now... It really isn't something that you should just jump into.

Yea my info is good to it gives you a long list of everything you need. I hate it when people think well if this person breeded their fish so can I. But yet they don't have a clue on how much studying the person went through to be able to do it. :grr:

I read it and followed what people in petsmart told me and they said I didn't need all of those things.

Why would you listen to the people at PetsMart (most of whom really don't know what they're talking about) when you've got "millions" of other sources telling you the right things to do?

People at big chain stores don't know squat they just hire people that are willing to scoop a fish out of a tank and feed it. So I would advise you to never follow any advice from a chain store.

:/ Well whats done is done. I guess I'll have to figure out something.

Just do as much research as you can to find out how to take care of the fry that you have now, if they hatch.

Then please, don't try another spawn until you're ready, i.e. you've done A LOT of research, you have a proper breeding pair, and a concrete plan.

You're right. What's done is done. Make the best of the situation.
