Hey, i have finally found my connector cord to my camera! Im soo excited! I just cant hide it! ( continues rambling!). Well, i wanted to know what kind of angel this is. I think it is a albino pearscale(?). Also, is it a male?(i do realize it's almost impossible to tell, but this one looks like it has a bump on it's head).

EDIT: Woop's, forgot the pic! Here it is!:

042.jpg

NOTE: That was when i had it in a 10g temporarly( now it's in a 30g!)

Ohh, and her is a Video( i just took the Video):

The food i am holding is O.S.I. Vivid Color ( the food that they are eating in the Vid and one of the Best Brands on earth, and it's only 3 dollars for a container!)

I will ry to get more pic's later! My camera is getting Re-Charged adn it's my mom's Birthfay( 40th) so we need the Camera for that also.

Okay, here is another Video. I thas alot of fish from my community( they wanted thier 45 sec's of fame!).

It's a Koi , Ghost, or blushing angel. Same colour form but called different things around the world.
Can't tell if its male or female or if it's a pearlscale. Need a better pic to say if it's a pearlscale.

Thanks Colin_T!!!!!!!!! I also wanted to know how i coulod ease his or her aggression? He/she just killed my Virgin female guppy( i had REALLY BIG) plans for her. Mos tpeople will say, ohhhh it's a guppy. But guppies that dont die immeadiatley are hard to find. Besides it's a Virgin! Our guppies are soo bad that i started out with 8 females and 1 male and 2 weeks later i ended up with 1 female. She has been find ever since. I've had fish die for no realy reason ( i associate them dieing with old age as most of my fish are pretty old), but she was completely MALLED. She was almost torn apart, and she was also healthy, so it has to be the angel! So, is there anything i can do? I love this angel, it's VERY pretty, and it is unique( in my oppinion), and i really want to keep this angel! PLEASE HELP!

ALSO, how can i tell if it is a pearscale? If you look closly at the first pic i showed, there are dark pink parts. But what defines a pearlscale?

a pearlscale angelfish is identified by looking at the scales on the body. They should be slightly raised and almost rounded, whereas the scales on a normal angelfish will be flat and smooth across the body.

Unless you saw the angelfish attack the guppy there is no guarantee it killed her. The guppy could have died and then the other fish ate bits of her.

Angels sometimes have a go at guppies but don't normally bother. Having some other fish in the tank to distract the angel can help. But they need ot be reasonable sized and quick. Bigger species of tetra or giant danios work well. Possibly even adding another angel might help it settle down but it could turn nasty and kill the newcomber if it doesn't like it.

Then i think i have a pearscale, they scales go go together seamlessly, they are rounded and raised and more "patchworky"( i know that isnt a word!).

As far as the guppy goes. My tank has
1 angel
5 mollies
2 danio's
2 platys

So, they only think that could ahve killed her is the angel. As the guppy was vbrant, healthy and eating yesterday afternoon. I am not a big fan of danio's as they are mindless litte things that run into tank walls( the 2 i have were given too me!). I've also seen teh angel have several goes at the mollies and everything. He/she is one vicious lil crerature!

the mollies and platies shouldn't have caused her any problems. The danios might have chased her a bit but you would have notices that before. I suppose it probably was the angelfish then. You might have a nasty angel.
The danios should be kept in groups. If you don't like them perhaps take them to the LFS and trade them in for something else, another angel maybe.
