my angel has laid eggs but i have no males?

would it be a phantom pregnancy?

could the male gourami be the father?

how do u tell if they have something in them?

Fish don't have 'phantom pregnancies'.

What happens is that the females naturally fill up with eggs. If there are no males, she'll either reabsorb them, or lay them anyway, but they won't be fertilised if there are no males (of her own species) around.

It's like when pet parrots lay duds or the chicken eggs we eat. They are unfertalized, and won't do anything, except provide a yummy snack for the other fish
