My DBR are carrying eggs every day, but recently I have noticed a few oddities among the females. There have been a few recent sightings of fungus-ridden eggs, even before being laid by the fish.
Is this down to something inside the fish or just a weak egg that the fungus has got a hold of?

A different thing entirely with this post, but my eldest male is now blind in both eyes and is at the surface below the floating plants. I know he is blind in both eyes, as both are cloudy and the fish is easily startled. Strangely enough, both the eldest males have had cloudy eyes in the past, and then, with time, that cloudiness faded. What's the best thing to do? as this fish cannot find food

Since the ocular cloudiness was transient in the other males I would give this guy more time to recover before euthanizing.

Clean water via frequent large water changes.
