I recently started my 2nd tank (first one is non-exsistant atm). It is a little 5 gallon. I still have my old 10 gallon that I might make into a new tank at a later date. I got a 25 watt heater and a filter. I Cleaned some decor from my old tank and added it. I took some nice red gravel from my old tank and put it in there. I had an aerator so I threw that in there too. I am still in the process of cycling it.

The rocks look pink in the pictures, but they are bright red.

very nice :) is that the filter in the lid? ive never seen one like that before, i see your fish in cycleing, i do hope you realise what a mammoth task you have taken on

UPDATE: Sadly, Posiden died last night of unknown causes. I found him dead caught between the bubbles and a fake plant. That might have been the cause of his death. But now Hydra (the other one) is freaking out and swimming all over the place. He goes to the top of the tank, then the bottom, then the top, then the bottom. He has been doing this since I woke up. The PH is fine and the chlorine level is 0. It doesn't look like anybody killed him... Maybe I was just unlucky and he got caught in the bubbler.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your fish.

What are the ammonia and nitrite levels in your tank?

Sounds like ammonia poisoning - how have you cycled your filter? Do a 90% water change and another tomorrow...and the next day.... and get yourself a testing kit,

unfortunatly this is what i meant by the mammoth task.....sorry for your loss, what are your water stats? hopefully you can still save the fish you have left
