hey nelly, you sure thats a gt? almost looks like an acara from the black under its eye to its more stout looking body. its beautiful either way but just my thoughts

very nice male, that gibby looks like a TANK (good name no lol)
and the little gt looks , gold saum (apart from jags) and well up on my liked fish list.

how many Aequidens pulcher have you seen with "that" colout on it's fine ? i'v seen the yellow/orange on there dorsal fin but not on there tail or at least no where at all as mutch as this fish!
I say its a Aequidens sp. "Goldsaum"

well i brought it as a blue acara and posted pics on here and a cichlid site and everyone told me it was a green terror......
oh well iam back to being confused

could be, although looks more like a straight acara to me, but the two look so similar that its really hard to tell. thanks for the info though mark

ok guys all my cichlids are out of the tank except the two oscars

had a vieja which killed the green terror/severum<2>killed
beat sever the two oscars and jack dempsey<all perfect now>

sold the vieja now living its days in a 4.5ft tank<solo wet pet>
jaguar cichlid is for sale now,,,,waiting in a 3ft/1.5ft/1.5ft<so has to go quickly!!!!!!!!!

now its only the oscars left as cichlids in this tank,,,

peace restored and ive learnt lessons about cichlids where i think they should only be kept in pairs or as wet pets,,,
unless there of the less aggresive varietys or large tanks

feel free to grill me,, Ive learnt my lesson

what happened to your JD man? I think you said that she was "all perfect now" but you said that the o's were the only ones left in the tank?
