Gotta move my 300 litre tank across the room today. Really, really not looking forward to it. Wish me luck !!!!!

My dad is coming around to help with the bit of 2-man lifting, but the whole thing is going to be hard work from start to finish, and stressful for the fish.

Oh, did I mention I'm not looking forward to it

Oh God, sympathies! Hate moving tanks and fish. Especially the fish. Luckily I had no losses from all the tanks moves we've done, and I'm sure yours will be fine too :)

Try moving tanks about with 2 small boys helping!! :hyper:

Ooo. I'd rather not !!!

Well the deed is done. Tank moved. All fish seem to be just fine and have, in fact, taken it in their stride.

Space is therefore now available for the new tank and cabinet on fri !!

If its of any help, Hamfist, give me a shout if you need extra hands for shifting tanks around. I'll charge a cup of caffeine, maybe two, plus a long drool at your tanks! ;)

All the tank-shifting is done now. The delivery guy and myself will be able to lift the new tank straight into it's proper position on friday. You'd be most welcome to come around and see the tanks at some point and chew the fat about fish if you'd like. Anytime. PM me if you want. I'm in North Baddesley.
