Hi fishy people,

I am about to put a second koralia nano in my freshwater set up.

The koralia has come from a marine aquarium and has some stubborn corraline deposits on it. Will this be harmful to my freshwater set up?

Thanks!

can be, depends on what you have in it.
what you can do it carefully scrub it, then allow it to run in a bucket with freshwater for a few days, changing the water each day. that should clear up any salts. then depending of what kind of fish you have, scaleless might be affected depending on how much deposits are on it.

I do have some shrimp and khulis as well as tetras and barbs so I wouldn't be surprised if the khulis were not happy.

I'll do as you say and run it in the bucket for a few days. Thanks BerryAttack
