i just found out i am might be moving house soon so has anyone got ne tip on what to do when moving tanks and the best way to go about it

i have a 10 gallon tank with serpeas and penguins

and a 25 galoon tank with 2 weather loach and a RTBS
???

leave the tank until last, and set it up first. Also look around the new house where you are going to be putting it as this will help set it up quicker.

1) empty tank, bag the fish up and put in a bag where no light can get to them, this helps them with stress. Save 50% of the water, this is because if the new house has different water parameters it wont stress them to much.
2) empty gravel into buckets, keep wet if you are traveling far, this helps saving baccteria.
3) move tank & stand etc.
4) keep filter in water too
5) set up and fill the tank up.
6) get all the equipment running and add fish once the tank is full.
7) dont feed or switch the lights on until the next morning.

good luck/.

follow all the above.
I moved my fish tanks over 2 hours and they were all fine.
I'd bag then and then pack them all as tighly as possible in a polystirene box, because they hold heat the best. Your local fish shop should have these as most fish deliveries come in them!

Good luck!
