Moving A Tank?

Quickest and safest way of moving a tank? It's only a fluval 90.

Was thinking of removing the decor and sand, leaving just enough water for the fish and lifting.
Only moving to other side of room while i build a new stand.

sounds about right to me.... just remember that water can be surprisingly heavy so be sure there is enough water for the fish and little enough to ease lifting

Do the above then slide a piece of board under the tank then use the board to life it spreading the weight over the board instead of the points where you hands hold it. simples.

I moved my 220l by 80% water out lifting of the stand and onto the floor with a heavy duty blanket under it. I then moved the stand pulled the tank to the stand and back on, happy days....must admit i a big lad so skinnys need not apply lol

Personally, I'd empty the entire contents.

If you leave the fish in make sure none of the decor falls over on them when moving. Good luck.

Me too, not worth the risk in my opinion. Put the fish in a temporary container while you move the tank and it will be less stressful for you and your fish.

Wouldn't that be more stressful catching the fish to put them in a container to catch
them again less then a few hour later to put them back in the tank though?
