Moved gravel from cycled tank

Hi all,
I have moved a stocking of gravel (as suggested) from my old tank to the new one. My question is ~ was it a pointless move because I had turned off the filter/air pump in the old tank (before teh move was suggested) and it had been off for about 12-14hrs. I turned it back on as soon as I thought of it - but woudl all of the good bacteria have already died?

It's probably knocked the bacteria abit do you have any cycle you can add to the water to restore the bacteria quickly.

no, I don't have any cycle & as it is Sunday, no one is open. So, I will wait and see if the stocking of possibly useless gravel has any effect and if not I will try to find some tomorrow.
