Most Hardy Freshwater Fish

My corries have been very hardy, white skirt tetras aswell.

Although mollies are considered hardy I was told that black mollies were quite prone to fungus infections if the water quality wasnt good....never kept mollies myself for ages and even then it wasnt black mollies so Im not sure how true that is.

I once bought a pair of black mollies they died within a month not sure what I did wrong at the time but my neighbour said that I should have added a bit of salt to the aquarium...... Not tried them since...... Stuck to platies.

White cloud's are the hardiest, I had a tank with 1/2 dozen go through a house fire, 1/2 the water boiled away god knows what toxic chemicals in the water no filter or food for over a month and there were 2 still alive when we were allowed to go in

my leopard danio, he is the last of a bunch of four that I got 3 1/2 years ago, and has survived everything, he is nails.

Danios are hardy anyway though.

Snakeheads are renown as being hardy and can survive for some time in mud so long as they are damp (not to mention some them having the ability to "walk" to another patch of water before decimating the population there).

Their tollerance to ammonia is also purported to be higher than most fish, though I am yet to find evidence of this (though once out of the water their own ammonia excretions decrease significantly to prevent ammonia poisoning).

Yep - I have a few of these that have lived through the worst.
