mossballs?

anyone know anything about mossballs? thinking about bidding on ebay but not sure yet. thought i'd get some second opinions!

Those? They aren't moss... but I'm not sure what else a "moss ball" would be besides java moss.

I've ordered some from eBay, just waiting for them.

They aren't moss but algae and are also known as Marimo Balls, their scientific name is Cladophora aegagropila.

Apparently not they seem to leave it alone, although I have read that some will nibble on it a little and fry like it too.
